The St. Joseph Catholic school principals have worked out a joint snow policy. The following policy was developed in consideration of the safety needs and the transportation difficulties of our families.

If the St. Joseph Public School District cancels classes the evening before or early in the morning before classes begin due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, we will also cancel classes that day.

If the St. Joseph Public School District cancels classes due to extreme cold/wind chill, the decision to cancel classes will be made after consultation with all the St. Joseph Catholic school principals.

If inclement weather occurs during the school day and the St. Joseph Public School District dismisses classes early that day, we will stay in school until the usual dismissal time.  However, parents are always welcome to pick up their child(ren) at any time.
